Humor and laughter make a significant contribution to both your physical and mental health. Laughter boosts the levels of the immune system, which helps the body’s ability to fight illness, and escalates healing. Laughter decreases stress hormones that constrict blood vessels. It also improves morale, job satisfaction and reduced anger and anxiety at work and in our daily lives. No joke!
Guided Imagery
Guided imagery is an active meditative process for self-healing, relaxation, and self-awareness. It has been medically proven to lower stress, provide instant relaxation and can be done just about anywhere, and for free! I’ll teach you how. I learned this style of guided imagery from the great acting coach, David LeGrant, in Studio City, CA.
The Multi-Tasking Juggler
This is a fantastic stress reliever - Juggling encourages a mental and physical state known as “relaxed concentration,” in which the mind and body are able to be focused and alert while remaining calm and relaxed. In addition, participants develop hand/eye/foot coordination, ambidexterity, balance, improved motor skills, and rhythm and timing!
